My God no. The premise of a criminal working as a consultant is the same, after that they are very different. Blacklist is darker, grittier, deals with murderers and terrorists. White Collar is just that, white collar crime such as embezzling and fraud, art theft. I like both shows because they are well made, but they are different.
After all my hemming and hawing, I stuck with Adndroid and got a Sony Xperia Z1s. So far I'm loving it and I was able to download Puzzle Quest. However, I've been too busy writing a PowerPoint and playing Marvel heroes on a supped up experience weekend to enjoy it.
Thanks, all. I forgot to post that the job interview went well. It looks like the prospects are better than average, so I am being cautiously optimistic.
The only tedious thing is that this a drawn-out process. First round was a screening phone interview with HR. Second round was a screening phone interview with the hiring official. Third round was the in-person interview with two different panels comprised of management team members (last Thursday). Apparently there is yet another round of interviews with upper management. Let's just say that it's an employer's market and so they are taking their sweet time and being as picky as they want to be before they make a final selection. Quite frankly I see this stretching into the month of February, but as long as I get the job it will have been worth it.
Note that this is not the only application that I have submitted, just the one that seems the most promising. It's just tough to get an interview, the competition being what it is in the current job market.

Indeed. Noon eastern, January 26th. Have to say, I'm pretty stoked. Hope to meet some of you guys there!
I normally would pre-reg, but don't know if I can afford it at this time. I am planning on going this year, however.

It is an employers market, but at least in my area there seems to be a dearth of qualified workers. We've had a ton of reqs open for months and we're getting applications, but very few folks we'd even consider. And you can appreciate this being a contractor yourself, but we're under-running like crazy. Still, you've made it this far in their process, I think you have a right to be a little optimistic.
Oh, and 1,000th post in the thread for you chaz, I believe you have the honors.
Sweeeet!!!! Let's get the new thread started, then...
