So some questions popped into my head about hoard stacks and ways to manipulate their combat values. I have two instances and would like clarification please.
The first one is about warbots. If i have a stack of 4 and 2 individual warbots and i am also fielding skadis warbot, when i merge the 2 individuals to the stack would the stack then have +3 to attack and movement?
Second one is if i have any hoard stack and a matching hoard token (that when added to the stack will not go beyond max) the individual is sitting on +2 with the bat belt when merged into the stack will the stack have +2? If so will i continue to roll for the bat belt if the stack takes an action?
As tokens and stacks merge into a single stack,
any game effects with an ongoing duration that are affecting the token or stack are now affecting the stack. In the cases where this causes an illegal condition (e.g., holding two objects), the token or stack joining the stack has the game effect end as it joins the stack (e.g., the second object would be dropped). This is from page 23 of the rule book and why i ask.
if a stack picks up a single toke with the Berlt, the Belt now belongs to the stack, following all normal rules for the belt (with the stack as the equipped character)
skadi bot im not 100% on, but i'd say you get +3 for the action in which the merge, and +1 after that. This is because mods are checked when needed. They will pool their +1's together for that action when they merge, but next time it is checked, SkadiBot sees them as 1 characeter
OK now what about hammers, if you equip two tokens with hammers do you need to have 4 out before you can merge since the merging tokens become one and you need to have 4 out before you can start doubling up on single characters?
Thanks
BLITZKRIEG: Other characters with the word ''Warbot'' in their name modify their speed and attack values by +1.
I would assume this wouldn't transfer to the stack when you merge. It affects each character, and a stack is only one character. I could be wrong though.

This one is a fun question I do know the answer too:

You do not need to wait until you have four hammers, but the merging token's hammer will be removed from the game. Alternatively, if the stack already has two hammers, and you try merging in a third hammer, the same thing will happen.

Yes, you would need to have had at least 4 hammers equipped before two tokens equipped with hammers can merge. Before that the merge can't happen due to creating an illegal situation.

The horde rules specifically contradict this idea. They clarify if merging into a stack creates an illegal game state to simply remove the illegal game effect from the game to resolve the issue.
