I know they're both a ton of points, but trust me, it works.

Which is better?

Uhura gives Kirk the ability to make at least one optimal move, Scan every turn with Spock hurts.

The other build gives me Transwarp, which is good for opening strikes AND getting out of trouble so Scotty can do his thing.

What's better defensively? Sulu and 4 Defense dice, or Sulu and 3 Defense dice with an Evasion token every round?

Obviously the token is better, but both choices have merits (hence your problem)

I think your second build is better defensively due to the token and extra shield. Plus you can disable that extra shield for a free scan. The biggest loss is your third talent (which would likely be Cheat Death with how you play )

I'm really liking the High Energy Sensor Sweep as of late so I'd go with the second option to get the potential free Sensor and Evade each turn.


Depends on how many times you're going to be attacked in any give round.

If it's one, it's always B.

If it's multiples, I don't have the math out, it begins to favor A.......not sure where the exact flip happens though.
