Far from it actually. In a game where team bases can deal 17 damage in ONE TURN with 6 attacks wielding a 13 av....it would only take two turns to take out Bizzaro as they would be dealing 6 tokens a turn for a total of 12 damage. Look up the definition of broken....
If your local venue still hasn't implemented the watch list changes, then you have bigger problems to solve than team bases...
My venue hasn't....and it won't until these new rules are included in the next PAC/rulebook.
But yes.. you are correct. I have ALOT of problems especially since I witnessed a team base steam role over 4 seperate teams (including my own) in a free for all blood fest last weekend. :(
I'm sorry but using the old 'working together' mechanic the Shiar teambase can't attack 6 times? No? You sure bout that? Wasting my time? Yes?
Cool your jets, Chet. It's pretty obvious he was talking post-Watchlist. In fact, since the Watchlist has been announced and adopted by a lot of folks(including the ROC tournaments), you should probably assume anyone talking strategy and power is working under the Watchlist. Stop being such a tool.
And the problem with Bizzaro isn't that he is inherently broken. If you want to beat him, you can beat him.
The problem is he encourages a Rock/Paper/Scissors style metagame that is incredibly unhealthy for Heroclix. Any team designed to beat Bizzaro(swarm) is going to get rolled by a tentpole team. Tentpole teams will get smashed by Bizarro because they can't damage him fast enough when he has the Gauntlet or Angrir's Hammer. And Bizzaro will lose to swarm teams that overwhelm him with attacks.
All that means that when you go to a tournament you have to decide what sort of team you want to be able to beat(tentpole, swarm or Bizzaro) and just hope you don't run into your counter. That's not fun, that's not strategic, that's bad for the game.
That's what's 'broken' about him. Not that you can't beat him, but that you can't beat him and still stand a chance against anything else.
90% of rules questions are answered by RTFC. Most of the rest are answered by a proper grasp of English and common goddamn sense.

Why is that a problem? The changes weren't in any official documentation, and with some things such as the damage reduction for multiple attacks, it wasn't clear how that was going to actually be written. So my venue still hadn't implemented those changes either, although now that the new PG is out, we will.

Great fig, played against 3 times and killed him twice, he lived once. He's a damage sponge but only secondary attacker through most clicks. And area effect abilities; PW, EE, Poison can knock him down pretty fast without you sacrificing all your resources on him alone.
Cool! Another poorly thought-out, unplay-tested, broken piece that requires a very specific build and strategy to beat! I love playing rock, paper, scissors! It's way more fun than that boring old Heroclix game I used to play!

I just play tested a 400 pts game vs This guy:
Teams were
Bizzaro 200 w/ Full Gauntlet
Hawk 100 with Birds of Prey ATA (Free Heals)
John Constantine
VS
Big Barda w/ Full Gauntlet and Birds of Prey ATA
Mister Miracle
Enchantress
Flatman
I was able to take out Hawk in only 2 turns neutralizing the threat of free heals from his ATA, Bizzaro seemed like he wouldn't need help but his stats were bad enough that he didn't hit Barda much, and when he did get a hit in her gauntlet either Super Sensed preventing damage, or let her steal energy to full. I hit her for 4 with exploit once Bizzaro had gotten to the 24 click of the Gauntlet dial but she merged with Miracle and the whole thing started over.
Flatman kept outwitting Constantine's prob canceling, and the whole game took what felt like forever but once Barda got to click 21 of the Gauntlet the game was well in hand and they beat Bizzaro gauntlet team without losing a fig.
