So, it's a Sealed game at a reduced cost where you don't get to keep the figures you pull. Too bad, I wouldn't have minded hanging on to my LoD FF Lex Luthor.

Also, it seems like FotWs will be tournament prizes now insterad of being sold in the store...

I don't play HCO, but this sounds a LOT like the Battle Factory from the Pokemon franchise. It sounds fun, though.

It's the same fee as the Constructed tournament. I don't see a problem with that.

I think it is much better...I do not think the prizes will remain that way for Marvel. I think it may just be a DC thing since DC lacks le prize support on HCO.

And I never will until the HCO actually gets pieces in there. I tried it and it has potential but the lack of clix is lame. Also needs some sort of better chat software or something.

rental clix though doesn't sound like a bad idea I wouldn't mind it for say sets I already have so much of but don't want to pay full price for it just to get an le. I can see this as a good thing even in real stores. Suck though to pull a chase haha.

There has been a lot of small sets released lately: Developer's Pick, Player's Pick, Shi'Ar and Fear Itself, along with a steady flow of Figure of the Week and various Fast Forces. Sure, it's not equal to the physical game, but there's no shortage of things to play - you can actually play a Sinister Six theme team if you want now!

I don't have the cash to throw into tourneys anymore. On top of that I'm not usually on when you guys do throw your tourneys...much like the game in real life.
