Nice write up as usual on a very fun character. I really wish they could give us a classic Rogue that was not so hard to get and the price point for her was a little more consumer friendly.

That being said I imagine this figure will be remade again some day and until then I still have some pretty decent options.

I think that Rogue only gets the range when using the power she steals. So for defensive powers, not ao helpful. Not helpful if she copies a close combat power either.

Rogue is my girlfriend's favorite character, I'll show her this article and see what she has to say. She really SHOULD play Rogue more often. I wish I had them all so she could.

GSX Rogue is still my go to Rogue figure. The lack of range hurts, but if played wisely, she won't need it as much. I remember how I beat a GSX Apocalypse by copying his shape change and pinging him for consecutive turns. Good times....

It actually wouldn't matter if phasing was wrapped up in a special if it grants the character the USE of a power, she can copy it and the character she stole it from would still take damage.

One advantage of gsx030 over the fast forces version. ff:gsx005 can only use a standard countered power so the target has to actually POSSESS the standard power, but gsx30 can take anything they can use even if granted by a special power or trait... I think she could even steal a power an adjacent character was using from a resource based on the wording.

And then sideboard Gambit/Rogue duo for a quick heal!

Yup, my favorite combo is gsx030 Rogue with HOT's Nico Minoru + IG who cares if Nico takes damage that walking power battery can heal almost every turn. With "The Love Glove" Nico can become a nightmare to deal with in her own right HSS, SUPER STRENGTH (From her Special & the second Special on the IG), WILLPOWER, and STEALTH
