few questions about him 1) is he friendly to himself? 2)does that mean also he can use a free action to get a hammer then? 3)when pull a hammer down from the book do you need to roll for it or is it automatic 6? 4) do you have to wait until next turn to use his free action with the plus 1 roll or can it be when you bring a hammer down in the beginning of your turn?
1) Yes
2) Yes, he can use a free action to equip a hammer.
3) You "technically" still need to roll, but it's automatically a success if you placed it that turn regardless of what you roll.
4) No, the best way to do it is pick up the hammer the turn you put it in the square, if you don't pick up the hammer that turn you don't automatically succeed and it's not considered equipped for the purposes of the book of skull.
I hope he gets banned or nerfed soon. He tends to be abusive in game as of late, and it's getting to the point where the fun is getting sucked out by this waist high rock dweller.

With Relics in play, I can definitely see him getting old.....
With the most recent rules update, Splitlip is, in my opinion, far and away the best piece in Heroclix.
I already read the new rules and i have heard a couple of players say the same thing, but to be honest i do not understand why you say that. Could someone explain me why the new changes to the rules make splitlip even better?

The new rules make it so that rolling for each relics is not limited to once per game per character. Splitlip makes a relic roll a free action and give it a +1 bonus, which makes it even easier to acquire a relic.

Don't play anymore. You're sucking the fun out of playing the pieces I've paid for.
I hope he DOESN'T get nerfed or banned, or any other thing that happens to characters people get whiny about.
New venue in Hamilton, Ontario! Black Knight Games. They are willing to try us out, so let's support the Clix community, and the venue!
Might I suggest trying to CONSTUCTIVELY disagree instead of telling people not to play the game anymore because you have a difference of opinioin?
That WAS constructive. Him leaving would make the game better, as there would be one less person whining about game elements, thus making the game environment better, and thusly (I like that word) improving the game. That's pretty constructive to me. I just made the venue and this site a better place.

There comes a point in a game where abused elements tend to pigeon hole a customizable game into something that isn't customizable if you have any intention of winning. Such a thing happened in Magic the Gathering, in the original Mirrodin set, where the power of one game element became so out of balance that people either specifically ran that element or the direct counter to it, removing all creativity from the game and driving up prices of those cards necessary to play or combat those elements. Magic the Gathering had it's greatest drop in players during those times due to this imbalance, and the company suffered. If things like that happen to Heroclix, it could possibly go under again, and I happen to like this game. I don't want to leave it, I want the game elements to be balanced and not to create a no win situation for players who do not choose to run those specific game elements. Splitlip is a corrosive piece to the game, much like the resources in general. The game is becoming less and less focused on team building and more focused on how badly we can abuse the resources. If those "whiners" that you've spoken about really do leave the game, the sales of this game will plummet and you might not have the game to enjoy anymore. Players want balance because players don't want to be stuck in a hopeless gaming situation where they do nothing but continuously lose. New players are driven away from games by situations like that, as well as by aggressively meta-game and competitive players who eradicate them with imbalanced (and often expensive) pieces. Existing players are also driven away from game situations like this if their game can no longer offer them the chances of winning and enjoying their game. So before you start telling people to quit in order to "improve" your game, you maybe should look at these elements that people are upset with and evaluate how they might possibly be interpreted as out of balance. That's what happened with the Watch List characters like Spiral, who many players complained was overpowered (and she was). Wizkids realized their mistake and changed the character to prevent game decay. If players don't mention these elements and the problems they cause, they won't change, and the game will regress back into bankruptcy.

Wow, you put that very succinctly! I wholeheartedly agree with this. If certain figures are created and end up being a game breaking element, then WizKids needs to either actually take a step back and not release so quickly so they can focus on quality of figures and balancing issues rather than quantity. Or they actually listen to the consumers and just give us what we want, i.e. a continuation of the game we all love and why we love it. If an errata came out with this guy, I wouldn't get worked up at all.
