With a +2 to relic rolls Mordru will accept his flight ring and join the Legion every chance he gets!

I'm thinking about using this for a tourney but I need to know if I can use a Relic & Resource on the same team.

Yeah, turns out the Legion Ring is a special object (so it can't be played with a resource) which it really shouldn't be considering how many of them there are AND one can have three per team. So I decided not to use the resource and stick with the Legion Ring as it benefits my team more then the resource would.

One of the best Relics out there! Great rate of success (even if Splitlip is NOT on your force!) plus gets back to the whole Flyer-CAN-Carry-Flyer old school mechanic! Defend and Toughness is just icing on the cake!

This relic really helps a legionere team as they are ALL flyers and now they can carry each other.

It's like the old days of T'bolting the first hockey puck Ant-Man to Defenders, only much better!

The Ant-man can't carry many folks since you can't carry a larger character. So the speed symbol isn't a problem, but the damage symbol is. However, his tiny size does let anyone carry him, even though he's now a flyer. So anyone can now carry around their 20 defense with them.

So, if I am reading this correctly, as long as I pick up another relic such as a Mandarin Ring or Fear Itself hammer first I could still then pick the Legion ring as well?

No. You only get 1 relic per force. So you play the legion ring which then allows you to replace 1 or both of your other objects with legion rings.

But you could still attempt to pick up an opponent's relic? Or if you were to play Black Witch and throw out a couple extra relics.
