Well thanks to the stupid snow the Tholian thing won't be released until the 30th of April. This sucks! Going to be a long wait until a new event. What is even worse is I wa planning on using a Tholian kit at the Con as prizes. Annoying as piss.

Yeah, a bit of an annoyance.

However, it does free up April for an idea I've been toying with: Mission Play Saturday.

I know a few of the guys are really burned out after 6 months of "competative play" so I'm going to host a casual, free play event in April.

Come in, grab an opponent, grab a mission, build and play.

Each time you finish a scenerio (win or lose), you get a raffle ticket. At the end of the day, raffle tickets will be pulled (likely two) and the winners will get a DS'tone Art vinyl mat.

I had hoped my venue might be able to get a second Episode kit and originally envisioned this as being a second, casual outlet for people to come and play and maybe get a prize ship just for playing. Looks like it will have to be mats as prizes instead.

I am talking to the owner about using an extra Month 1 so the more expierenced can try out their alt builds and the new guys can get used to the game.

Which Con?

You might be able to get a kit earlier if you contact WKs directly for a big event.
