Sadly without a way to get your big guy to Donald Blake, you're probably not getting any support off, as opponents will just base you. I find if I'm running support, I need at least a tk or cheap taxi to get my guy out of combat and let my medic do his thing.

Also, I think you can find a better investment than imwm for that amount of points (avx Thor is probably a better use)

Yea, it has to be Avengers themed. I'm going to run IIM 029 War Machine and IIM 038 Iron Man. I'm also thinking of running all six chase Iron Men just in case I want to split IM/WR and try to get the "Summon Ancestral Spirit" to go off.

Ant-Man Defenders via Phoenix force (namor frag on the base) is very good, if you have the ant man. Here's a good all purpose Avenger's team you shouldn't have too much problem getting to work (or to get your hands on any pieces) assuming you only have 3 fragments to choose from.

1 prob (plus theme team probs), 3-4 perplex, an outwit, Avengers Initiative+enhancement for hawkeye via tony (mystics right before you end your turn). Team stealth. Use the witch to get rid of Xmen TA (or if they're running P5, get rid of power cosmic). Everyone is gonna use the PP in these events because a resource is almost always your best bet points wise; so why not be THAT guy and run M10 Iron Man? If you don't feel like having all your friends hate you for a day, go with thor and run the Secret Avengers ATA for some faux power cosmic action.

I just realized my math was wrong with my team, its total is 598 not 595. I forgot to add 3 points for equipping a shard to IM/WM.

Sadly I didn't get to play AvX again this month due to work, but oh well. I think for the next month, again if I get to play, I think I'm going to use the last team but drop Black Panther and add AvX Thor at top dial.
