Is there a way to know if my target will be getting these? If I call, would it be in the computers or is it a check and see each day sort of thing?
Great advice from Tyroclix above.
The reason you can check is the cards/collectibles section is stocked by a vendor, not Target. If you're lucky, you call and get ahold of someone who knows what you're talking about and where to look. My experience in the past is, 3/4 of the workers have no idea.
Take Tyro's advice. Wait a month, 12 more Heroclix sets will be out by then, and you'll find them or find them cheap on the secondary market.
Also, you may feel panic as if everyone is getting some but 'you'. Don't fall for it.
You can ask your local target when that hobby section gets restocked - (once a week? twice?) and then swing by when you are out on those days (or the say after).
I also believe (no facts to back up) but depending on where you live - it will arrive sooner or later. The west and mid-west generally get items first. I'm in Florida and routinely get things like this a week to 3 weeks after the 'panic starts'.
This is all really good advice.
I think how quickly you get it might also be dependant on how much stock your Target moves. The one (of four) in my area that has already gotten a Winter Soldier display gets restocked twice a week and is a big mover of merchandise.
How many packs are in the Target display? 24 packs plus the Captain America in the display window or 23 packs plus the Captain America in the display window?

There is 24 packs in a Target display.

It includes the typical 'slice of the starter map', Captain America and Winter Soldier from the starter, 2 ultra heavy objects, 2 ultra light objects, and horde tokens.
