Rogue is a piece to be used as a small tentpole on small 300-400 point teams. use the FFGL Abin Sur to drop her in front of your biggest enemy so rogue can deal 2 clicks of penetrating damage before she even attacks. combine that with another small taxi dropping Nigma next to her and you have a brutal combo that's going to be tough to beat. She's definitely a finesse piece but when all the pieces fit together it's a beautiful thing to behold.
She's close to being really good. But her power stealing trait needs to give her some range. Like the Superman set's Parasite, for example. That would've made all the difference.
Giving her Absorption power any kind of range would be WHOLLY inaccurate, seeing as how she has to make PHYSICAL contact in order for her mutant ability to work...

rogue is one of my favorites, but for the life of me i cant make her work! her numbers are just too low for the points. its like they're putting too much money on the special power.
This is the most accurate version of Rogue. I love TKing her into a battle with no action tokens and never taking a power action. Just keep sucking that unavoidable out of people and never move. It makes your opponent have to deal with her. When she gets hit there is usually someone around with a damage reducer so you then have Combat reflexes with a Damage reducer. People get pissed when I use this strategy, but that is not my concern. Dealing with her when she is on that first click and she steals someone Combat Reflexes is tough to deal with too. Anyone saying she is overpriced hasn't tried this partiuclar strategy and been successful.
I have used her twice and she has been the mvp both times. TK her out and start dealing free damage. Steal a good defensive power while you are at it. This is a fun figure to use it's too bad the sculpt stinks. She looks much better with the Fantastic Forces sculpt on the dial.
Her SP is really weird. It can only deal damage if she has no action tokens? Why? If she is draining someone, even if she might be tired, it would still hurt the person.
