Sonny Boy Williamson 66 pts - Nice old school blues
Jane 62 pts - Jane, Jane, Jane....where ya been all my life?!? Marry me, Jane!
Ginger Baker's Airforce 55 pts - I do enjoy groups of this sort for a change, including Atomic Rooster and, more distantly, Quicksilver. I think part of the fun was that these groups could occasionally break into something I DID love, listening for one of those moments, and occasionally finding it. Most of the time, while the music was creative, I didn't find that moment, but the fun was hoping you would.
Peter, Paul and Mary 55 pts - Three voices, two guitars, one bass - and still more talent than you'll find on most stages today
Gap Band 47 pts - AND it had brothers in silver cowboy suits dancing.
Kim Wilson 47 pts - actually, heck with Kim Wilson, I could have just listened to his piano player.
Baby Bash 41 pts - I was torn on this one, but ended up enjoying it a little bit.
Johnny Lee Moore 41 pts - That was neat. Power of the human voice and all.
Vanity Fair 36 pts - Surprised I've never heard this. I rather like it. It kind of feels like British pop meets Kurt Weill.
Wow. I only opened this link because I was expecting Eddie Rabbit's tune to make the list. What I did not expect was a group called Jane! How have I never heard of these guys?!?!! I'm a lover of all things 70s. One song and now I'm busy scouring the intarwebs for more. Serious rock for 1974! Gawd that rocked!

Peter Paul and Mary (Three voices, two guitars, one bass - and still more talent than you'll find on most stages today. PPM are always best live...which is really saying something.)
Vanity Fair (I know this one from my "Have a Nice Day: Superhits of the 70s CDs. Such a fun song and a nostalgic look back at a time when such a simple, easy song could still be a big hit.)
Ginger Baker's Air Force (I wanted to rate this one higher, truly. Just couldn't.)
Gap Band (Oh hell yeah!)
Sonny Boy Williamson (Ooooh, I can get lost in the links surfing through music like this. I'll share this one with my dad. He'll appreciate it.)
Kim Wilson (That is one ugly chick, but the song was great fun.)
Johnny Lee Moore (Sorry...just not my cup of coffee.)
Baby Bash (No. Just...gawd, no!)
