The real name is Tony Stark.

I'm not impressed. Straight up this is a one-shot wonder which is going to get itself nuked into oblivion even if it gets to take the first shot. Nothing wrong with that design except that his cost is bloated by the lopsided damage output which he probably won't get to use much.

Why the hate for this piece? Maybe I'm biased because I really like Iron Man, and this piece is so atrocious (in a good way) sculpt-wise that it's quickly become my 2nd favorite Stark behind Thorbuster. But here are my points:

-10 Range. Unheard of in this day and age
-STATS: Crazy good stats for this point range. Hell, compare him to Sentry/Void, a 300 point piece (just on stats, not powers). He's got the stats of some 250+ point pieces for only 175 points.
-Power combinations: RS and PW is a really good combo (obviously), and he gets some Perplex to help out even further
-Trait: What's there to say about that trait? If you don't get why it's good then you should probably play clix more

His dial isn't too short for this point range in today's game. And I'd kinda rather have it on the short end if the point cost reflects that, because in today's meta if you get hit you're done for anyways. Why spend the points for more clix of life if those clix are going to basically be useless?

I'll save the "Better with *insert relic* and Tellus!" for somebody else :)

And for added fun, use CW Scarlet Witch to either perplex defense or damage. And of course, PC comes in handy.

This figure won me the final tournament in the AvX event at my venue (won me the Dark Phoenix Cyclops). Never took a single click of damage for three straight games, and laid waste to all the competitors. Definitely worth it in points and playability. :)

How did you use it in AvX month 4 if this was the prize for AvX month 4?

Played against him last Friday in a 200 point game using Amazing Spiderman set Shocker, Invincible Ironman's Piledriver and Thunderball and took him down quick with Shockers penetrating damage plus add a token to hit target power. I don't play with relics or resources any way so this Iron Man got no boosts from my team build. He was easy to take out if you stay out of his line of site. Awesome sculpt I sure want one.

Borrowed one from a friend to complete my Avengers team. They worked well together.
