I know some effects generate multiple Aux Power (AP) tokens (the new Helmsman card for example, can give a ship two of them). But what about various abilities that each independently generate AP tokens?
For example, Voyager can fire at 360 degrees and generate an AP token, and Janeway can also generate an AP token. Can Voyager use Janeway to generate an AP and then, on that same turn, fire out of arc for an additional AP token? You can then clear one with a green move, and obviously you can't perform an action with one still on the ship, but could you generate another AP token by firing out of arc again? Would that basically keep you running on AP tokens while never clearing all of them?
My gut says you can't, but I didn't see it in the rule book (although I might have missed it).
I heard in X-Wing, you could gain multiple auxiliary tokens, and you could keep getting them, but you'd only remove one per turn. It mainly just prevents you from performing complicated maneuvers. The X-wing variant I ran into was the Push the Limit elite talent in the A-wing.

As long as the ability doesn't specify 'if you don't already have an Auxiliary Power token' (or along those lines) you can keep using it provided you are still allowed to activate said power (can't think of an example off the top of my head) such as making an attack or taking an action (as in the Enterprise example below).
One of the 'fun with Auxiliary Power tokens' that just started is to put Captain Janeway on the USS Enterprise (NBABCoD) and watch the stack pile up....
As the Enterprise's special is to be able to take actions (on the ship bar, not crew or otherwise) while Aux powers are present and Janeway isn't performing an action off her card like Picard or Dukat.....the stack just keeps getting taller.

It is almost upon us! Are you prepared for the Quarmageddon?
