ironically, i play against this team next round. if Rokk doesn't check in he will get the same lineup and i will need a sub, so you may have the opportunity to play them against me if you want.

Just for the record, knockback is never, under any circumstances optional. And what the character has showing on the dial after taking damage only matters for the purposes of knockback *damage* if you hit something (or fell off of something).

You check for Charge and Combat Reflexes *before* you apply damage, and check for damage reducers to protect against any knockback damage that might be incoming *after* applying the initial damage.

Man, I don't think I'll be able to hit that 18 defense. Ugh.
