I'd like to settle an argument... With Headpool's power:

The simple parts that are agreed on is the scenario: FigA (adjacent to Headpool) can "throw" Headpool up to 8 squares away and deals 2 damage to the target... but there's a few details that are in question.
1) Do both have to have LOF to the target like "regular TK" or just the attacker (since the attacker is throwing like a light object). Since Headpool is Tiny Size, it's not normally an issue unless the target is in stealth and the attacker can ignore hindering for LOF.
2) Can Headpool take an action after being "thrown?" There is no precedence except the Dumpster and whatnot that aren't destroyed, but objects have never taken actions.
3) Can Headpool be used to TK attack blocking terrain (essentially just being moved instead of used in an attack since it wouldn't hurt anyone or be enough damage to destroy the terrain)?
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
1) I would say yes, because functionally it works just like regular TK.
2) Yes. Precedence says TK'd characters can take actions, they juts can't use TK.
3)They wording seems intent to mean it can only be used to attack characters.

You need line of fire to both. It works exactly like regular telekinesis except for where it specifies otherwise. (not like throwing an object.)

being placed by telekinesis does not say that it prevents the character from being given a non-free action, so it doesn't.

No. You can't use telekinesis to attack blocking terrain, and nothing
in headpool's power alters that.

I'm wondering on #1, though... because let's say a Superman Ally figure used TK to throw an object at Batman in hindering terrain... the SA would have LOF to the target, but the object wouldn't. If that object were Headpool instead, does that really change the situation or could the SA not "throw" Headpool because Headpool couldn't see Batman? That's my main question there (as he's tiny size, all regular figures can see over him anyway).

When using TK for an attack you are drawing a LoF to the Square that character occupies not to the actual character itself. That is why you can use TK to attack characters in Stealth.

I'm going to second what Dragon Said...

TK can be used as a stealth buster.
Also remember there has to be a 6 way LOF to use TK.
If your interested in having your maps Laminated, send me a PM
Oh! Y'know, now that you say that, it makes sense but I just never thought of it in that context... TK changed drastically while I was gone and I didn't realize that was one of the aspects that the change(s) entailed. I know you could TK an object from under a stealther and hit them with it (as that was done to me in one of my first games back), but I didn't realize that was another stealth-busting trick. Nice!

If the adjacent character can already use TK, can they still use the special Headpool type of TK?
NO, the character could not us TK from Headpool if they already can use TK. This has been covered a seemingly a million times sense the release of Resource Dials. The most common of this "People wanting to combo the same power" was NML Poison Ivy with the Utility Belt Smokepellets. Both get to use Smokecloud with different effects. It was ruled that if you have a power on your dial you cannot use it from another source, even if it was a modified version.
chrisdosmil: hpred is right. No "orange" is going to come into a thread when a correct answer has been given. Trade List
Although if you have TK, you can just move him normally... then you wouldn't need to.
Granted, it won't hurt the opponent by throwing him (just the annoyance of dealing with Headpool), but the rules are what they are.
