I noticed that the fast forces Deadpool and Rulk both have switch clix bases, but their character cards do not have any team asset abilities printed on them. Is this a misprint? Or are they not really switch clix?

Well they are really switchclixs. However they would need official errata to be played on a teambase (to use an asset power) or to go on solo adventures (since their clix numbers aren't different colors).

Maybe Wiz-Kids has come up with a new way to abuse switch clix.....

I would imagine they might be like the Gravity Feed Red Hood from Teen Titans. Sure, it was a switch-clix and had the same sculpt as the one on the team base, but it had no Asset Ability and all red numbers like these guys.
