I really wish they would have done something different with the Trait. It's kind of redundant when he can already do penetrating damage or better on every single click. They should have made it more defense oriented to support his short dial.
I like this thing, but damn is it ugly looking. I hated it when I got it because of the sculpt, then I looked at the card and dial and my opinion changed... still, it's damned ugly.

This thing was built to do one thing: destroy the Phoenix. Stark didn't intend to come back from this run, so despite the fact it may do pulsewave and the like, what happens when my target is 15 squares away, and next turn poses a serious threat... but that target happens to be wearing a Cyclops PF fragment? I'll running shot, and not pulsewave, instead just put a shot straight into him... and he'll eat every bit of it because he HAD to have his resource/relic.
"A" is "A". And no matter what universe he's from, Luthor... is Luthor.
Sadly, one of the most terribly ugly sculpts I've ever seen in my entire life. While I want to like it, this thing looks like a cheap dollar store robot put on a Heroclix dial. Looks aside, the figure is solid for its points. And in a meta where resources/relics tend to be king, the ability to keep punching through anyone who is using them is very nice. Running Shot/Pulsewave is really nice top dial as well, giving him the option to snipe from afar, or get in and blast a couple people, or focus on a single target, but get most any power/ability they may have.

That is literally how he looks in the comics though. There wasn't much design time for Tony and Dark Phoenix Cyclops wasn't going to wait for him to spruce it up and make it look all pretty.
As a tragic unintended side effect of the January 2015 Watch List changes, Phoenixbuster Iron Man is no longer an Entity-buster (as possessed characters no longer automatically gain the Cosmic keyword).

LOL, now he's comic accurate. Tony has no idea what he's doing, Phoenix (entity)blows right past him, his team ends up worse off than they started, and someone ends up way overpaying for this ridiculous armor. Well played WizKids!
