Which is a better game? Which is a longer game? Xbox Live has Eternal Sonata for $6.00 Tales of Vesperia for $8.00. Which do you who have played both, think is a better deal?

Both are solid rpg's if you have $14 bucks grab them both. If you can only get one I would suggest Tales of Vesperia.

To be honest, I wanted to but never got the chance to play Eternal Sonata, but Tales of Vesperia is one of the best entries in that series, so I'd at least recommend that. Unless you're a big fan of Chopin of course.

Have ypu played any of the other tales games? Vesperia is a strong entry in the series and very much worth playing. Never played eternal sonata, however.

Both are fantastic. If you have the money get them both, play Eternal Sonata first (short RPG), then play Tales of Vesperia, then do a 2nd playthrough on Eternal Sonata (different-ish story 2nd time through).

You'll get your money's worth from Tales alone for $14.00 most Tales of games promote replay, and being able to control whatever character you want in battle helps keep it fresh.

So I went into Game Stop to check the pricing and they sell Eternal Sonata for $15.00 and Tales of Vesperia for $35.00. I just got a great bargain! If you're looking for either of these games, get them now!
