So we determined in this thread that attached characters like The Pack, Monkey Joe etc. are characters even when attached. Some of them are always the same character. If instead of being KO'd, they re-attach to their "host" they even retain their action tokens. (and any other game effects attached to them) If they are KO'd however, they are a new character when re-attached.
Anyway, while team building tonight, I had a silly thought. If they are characters, can they be assigned feats? The ones who stay the same character the whole game would be able to retain their feats, while the ones who are KO'd and become new characters would not.
Yes, completely silly and probably pointless, but who knows? Somebody with enough time could find a good reason to do it.

I say no you cannot assign feats to attached characters.
While they may be characters while attached I don't think that they count as characters on your force until they are detached. And therefore you cannot assign stuff like feats, ATAs or resources to them.

I would lean that way as well. But, just for the sake of "argument"...
None of them say "add X to your force when detached", so aren't they already on your force?
Again, I'm not saying you can, or even should be able to. It was just a silly idea and I thought we could kick it around and see what everybody had to say.
