With his wide variety of useful abilities--and his trait as backup--he seems like he could be a powerhouse if used with conservation, finesse, and a few good followers. However, I really wish he had the Army of the Free People trait the Gondorian Soldier has. That would have been thematically appropriate, and his stats are high enough that the trait would allow him to truly specialize, making either his Attack or Defense decidedly above-average for his point cost.
