Why is this the only battery to work without having Corps members?

My battery doesnt have numbers indicating what slots are what. Am i missing something here?

If I understand this correctly, this resource is an utterly useless hunk of plastic unless you have the special Green vs Yellow pack that provided the ring this thing requires to function? If so, I'm gonna get pissed at WizKids for this blanant plug to continue to buy all of their product. Its bad enough spending the money every month on sealed play.

1) Numbers are: if you start at the stairs, to the left is #1 and just goes in that order. Check Wizkids for pdf.
2) Its not useless cause you can give it any ring. You just lose the Emotional Spectrum power. But you can use the ring power.

So it's still unplayable right out of the box if you haven't pulled one of the randomly inserted rings. Kind of a letdown in terms of a tournament prize. At least all of the other event resources are playable without assistance from booster packs/scenario packs.

I've bolded the part of that statement that disturbs me about the direction the game is moving. It seems to be headed away from skill and tactics and more into money=victory.

So its like every table top game out there? i.e.Magic The Gathering, Yugioh, Warhammer (just to name a few). Bottom line if you have a hobby its gonna cost you some money to play the way you want. And just an fyi for the points you can much better object/resources/relics/pieces! I for one look forward to playing some green lantern action with this piece! May not win but I will have fun!

i have a question do you have to have full constructs to get emotional spectrum or can you only have 1 construct on it and still get it

As long as your power battery totals a minimum of 16 points and everything attached is the same color as the power battery, you get the emotional spectrum power.

I still buy my one booster per week and manage to do well in tournaments against multiple people who dump money into bricks and chases on eBay. It's probably my favorite thing about this game.

I was a little unhappy about the "buy the scenario pack if you want the lantern" but so much about this op has been good, one clear "this is for sales" move doesn't bother me that much. Especially when you consider you can use any ring you open in sealed, or any you have in constructed.
