I thought about using Wolverine (dofp,130pt) and Blink (Dp, 86pt) as base, but i'm not sure about that.

Those 2 are great figures. Let see what we can do...

= 299pts, add Colossus (100) for 399pts.

Team I suggested to the noobs during AvX:
Cyclops (AvX) 150
Magneto (AvX) 150

For 400pt and higher games I suggest you get a ASM Cloak, together with Dagger they make 100pts, work so well together, great for flanking.

The 100 point avx emma frost is a closte combat beast and she gets underestimated all the time. Shes really hard to hit and deals penetrating damage, along with outwit and later probability control. Not to mention her traited sidestep if there is another x-men member more than 4 squares away.


Also Avx Cyclops at either point value is just crazy good. He is nothing short of amazing.

That was my main idea.... But i just found out something (i hope) cool:

Wolverine 130 pt
Dr. Strange 90pt + midnight sons ATA 4pt (no lines of fire on 1st click, telekinesis and leadership. Then pulse wave and probably control!)
Dagger 45pt
Weasel 27pt + hydra ATA 3pt (booster for strange/dagger, -1 to opponent Outwit, Perplex and PC range)
Tot 299pt

Unfortunately ATAs don't work like that.
a)you can only have one. b)They recently changed the rules so you need a theme team, which you have... I've just got to see if non themed members can have ATAs...
Yep, non-themed members can have the ATAs.

In order to have a theme team, all characters on the force need to share a keyword. The second team is not a theme team as far as I can tell.

Sooo.... I can use ONLY an ATA per team (so, i would use Midnight Sons), even if not a themed team... That's OK.

Nope. You need a theme team to have an ATA on your team. All members (not just 2 like how my venue has been playing it) must share a keyword to be themed. However, it doesn't have to be the ATA that the theme correlates to, ie: If all team members had Avengers keyword, but only one had Midnight Sons, you could still use Midnight Sons ATA on that one character.

So, i can't use on the 2nd (dr. Strange) team... So bad!
HHow does the PC for themed team works?

Themed Team Probability Control is only available to named themed teams, and is 1 per starting character, up to 1 per 100 points of the build total. And it requires assigning an action token to a character.

That action token doesn't count for the max 1 action per turn?

Yes, it does. (I'm going off pg 23 of the 2013 Rulebook, and nothing in the 2014 Rule changes thread mentions this as being changed.)
