Attack power is devastating; now your BCF damage will range from 3-8. TABD-003R Wonder Woman is one of the best candidates for Butcher to Possess, as she starts on click #4. 12 attack, Charge, Indomitable, Super BCF, and Exploit Weakness? Sign me up.
The placement of Poison on the back-end is slightly disappointing, but the enhanced BCF effect is well worth the investment. Using Flurry to deal up to 16 damage in one turn (up to 19, with knockback off elevated + Impact Beam) is dizzying.
Not since CM Galactus, has there has been more of a point-and-shoot character.

Not on the first click, only a reroll of bfc, starting with the 3rd they can use it, I'll be possessing weaponer at 135 for my red lantern team, giving him charge with the option to reroll blades if I choose heat of rage

What I said was in reference to the claim that this is the MOST point and click character since CM Galactus while fool-proof weaponer has been running around for the past 2 months, wasn't suggesting possessing weaponer.
I didn't even see your comment Chief when I posted, mines was directed towards Control Freak, but anyway for competitive play, Shatterstar would be a great candidate for the butcher, reroll of bfc offensively or choose toughness for defense with a plus one to any of his combat values
I think I want to put butcher on Corvus glaive... +3 to my blades roll and I can use some to heal...? then add angrirs hammer and never die...
Unfortunately you cannot use a power granted by a relic/resource/other if you already have it and he has blades his whole dial. However that doesn't mean Corvy here is a bad choice for Possession. On those first 2 clicks he can reroll his blades rolls. Clicks 3-5 he can still do that, but also has Invul as an option. And consider that on clicks 3 and 5 he has his healing blades power. Then if you get on clicks 6 or 7 you will pick the movement SP because there is flat out no better option. You will immediately deal 1 damage to anyone adjacent, then can push to heal by regen or blades. And I didn't even think about this until I saw your comment. I found a new member for my favorite corps. Thank you.
let me clarify: angrirs hammer would give him steal energy, so on clicks 3 and 5 he'll choose butchers blades power. if he rolls a six the +3 (1 from his power and 2 from butchers will be 9 clicks. with steal energy he can choose to heal 2 (steal energy, 1 sacrificed blades), and deal 8 to get to the top from click 3 (or sacrifice 3 and deal 6 from click 5).
also, I'm 90% sure all caveats kick in at once so he gets one use of blades, but get the extra aspects front the 2 specials. I could be wrong but that's how I saw it ruled last.

I get what you were saying, and let me say that angrir's hammer is probably the best for him. But page 3 of the player's guide:
"Game effects which grant the use or possession of another game effect have no effect if the recipient can already use the new effect."
And both powers say:
"X can use BCF. When he does etc etc"
So the real question I guess is that since they both are triggered from BCF can both be triggered from 1 use or will they be considered the same effect.
I played him on prime whizzer on Saturday, he wrecked everything that he touched.
Butcher gives +1 to defense and toughness until he needs to attack. Whizzer takes +1 to attack or damage and hits someone twice for some damage, when whizzer is hit he will land on blades of the butcher. I played on a map with a lot of elevation and he would hit and run without ever being targeted.
