BTW, I would have posted the stat cards for the two figures I mentions, but I have never been able to successfully do it.
Go to units, select a figure, and click the little dial icon. That should open a pop up with the code. Select it all and paste it in here. Bit of a pain if you're using a mobile though.

The 400 point Iron Man and Iron Patriot chase from the IM3 set is the best figure that comes to mind. Not only does it have the starting 19 defense, duo attack, and HSS, but it also has traited ESD. The usual problem with a OMA team is that even a 19 isn't that hard to hit with 3 or 4 characters. A 21, however, can cause problems. Just as an added bonus, Iron Man and Iron Patriot maintain their starting 12 attack for a whopping 4 clicks, and don't drop below 11 until click 9. Plus, they can give ranged combat actions instead of attacks and posses 2 targets when using duo attack.
If the question is one single fig against another....take your pick....there are many....
If the question is a one man army against another team....I would have to say Bizarro every time. The ability to take a hit every time and only drop one point each time is the best way I know to deal with a team (swarm or otherwise).
Timey Wimey Wibbley Wobbly.... just not in that order....

(Special) Life and Death and Rebirth is a Cycle: When building your force, Beyonder costs 100 points for every 4 Corporeal Form tokens you place on his card. At the beginning of the game, roll a d6 and click Beyonder to that click number. Whenever Beyonder takes damage, remove a Corporeal Form token from this card for each click of damage taken. When there are no Corporeal Form tokens on this card, KO Beyonder. Whenever Beyonder is healed, place one Corporeal Form token on this card for each damage healed, but no more than he originally began the game with. This ability can't be ignored.
(Special) Teach Me What I Don't Know: Beyonder can't be assigned a relic or resource. Give Beyonder a free action and choose a standard power that any other character can use. Beyonder can use that power until your next turn.
(Special) Godly Power (500 pts.): Beyonder can use Colossal Stamina.
(Special) Taking Human Form (100 or 200 pts.): Modify Beyonder's combat values by -1. This ability can't be ignored.

He/they is my favorite figure in many years of playing, but keep in mind that he has no way of dealing with Stealth, aside from a couple of spaced-out clicks of Pulse Wave.
I really think Dark Knight is incapable of creating anything that does not involve 80's/90's pop culture in some way. It evokes both mirth and nostalgia in me.

ALERT for the OP!!!!!! Something to consider....even the toughest of tanks can be relatively easily brought down by the right combination of smaller point figs.
Yes this am aware of, I have gone up against some oma's with a team of lower point pulse waves and decimated the opponent. We mainly play home games and are thinking about teams of oma's to fight in a game of like 2000-3000 points or something along those lines

Hopefully here is the two figures dials I mentioned earlier. I'll keep trying, one of these times I'll get it.
Thanks for your help Hesster. But I still don't seem to get it. I've hit the green cross thinking that might be it. I've hit the (dial) in the upper right corner, neither one works.

Yeah, it's the little left arrow that says "dial" next to it. Right above the star ratings. Do you have a popup blocker maybe?

(Special) I Don't Really Belong in This World: X-Man is a wild card. He may be given a free action to copy the team ability of an opposing character instead of a friendly character.
(Special) TK Prodigy: X-Men can use Telekinesis with all instances of "8 squares" replaced by "12 squares." When he uses it to place an opposing character and hits, if you place the character adjacent to blocking terrain (including walls), deal that character 2 penetrating damage after actions resolve.
(Attack) Telekinetic Fury: At the beginning of your turn, give X-Man a free action and all opposing characters withing range are knocked back 1 square.
(Defense) Psionic Shields: X-Man can use Barrier and Energy Shield/Deflection. When this power is revealed, after actions resolve, X-Man may immediately use Barrier as a free action.
He has just enough room for a full utility belt which of course makes him even better and a lot of fun to play.

I considered suggesting him, but the lack of built-in Willpower on a figure that expensive is a bit of a turn-off for me. Don't get me wrong, I love the figure and was THRILLED to finally get him(I actually asked my friend Jack if there was a Nate Grey as he opened his Infinity Challenge starter on the mall steps back in the summer of 2002 lolz), and I understand that there are methods of addressing it(hammers, belts, and such), but still.
