The more I look at it, the more the new Venom is perfect for the Red Lantern Corps. He's got plasticity, the Thunderbolts keyword can give him Mystics, and that Web power can stop attacks cold. If they release a construct that grants Incapacitate, my Spider-Family team is definitely going red.
I really hope that there is a red wall construct, I would love to play red lantern emotional spectrum with my hand theme team that I'm working on and free blocking terrain every turn would be awesome.
No idea what the lord of the brain squids is talking about, jimmyboy. I plan on running this thing with a metric f-ton of Mermaids and some other aquatic horrors in an event coming up. Giant Reach is really fun for a melee-emphasis battery that doles out penetrating Poison.

In the 2016-2018 era of low-cost, short dials with high defense values and low damage values the penetrating Poison from an (all) Red Power Battery is a cruel resource to add to a mobile force committed to swarming opponent's teams. For an all Red Power Battery, I recommend: Net (reduce opponent's attack values, or just slow them), Stop Sign (for Plasticity), Boxing Glove (for cracking 2017 Invincible), Mallet (2017 KNOCKBACK is optional), Axe (low cost BCF for low-damage figures), and Wall (block lines-of-fire and avenues of attack).
