For only 10pts more than the DC 75th Batman Transporter, you get a Wildcard with outwit, opening range with the web SP and the guarantee of more damage with SS and a printed 3 damage on clicks 3 and 4. Wildcard him to Mystics, Defenders, Sinister Syndicate and he can clean up (did the last two in a bizarro tournament where you had to miss to hit. Him and Mary Jane cleaned up so it seems the reverse would work as well). Or just wildcard him to Batman and block a whole lot of lines of fire on the right map.
I got two of these as part of the BiBtB program. I have to say, I've never played them. Thought up a couple teams to put one on, but never ended up playing with them. This piece had so much potential, they could have easily put 2 or 3 different dials on this big piece to show some different aspects of the character.
As much as I really want this piece to be worth it, I don't think it is.

I'm thinking I might dig mine out, also never played and still in the box and all, and bring it WW this year coming up and get Stan Lee to sign it. All I have to do is remember to do it then.
MMMMk....i am not seeing how and why players hate this figure. If you look at his dial it is well worth 90 points. But now add in the aspect of his huge base and all of a sudden his charge is more effective, his free move action is more effective. The big base actually helps him get around alot quicker and tie up more than one foe. This is a decent piece...the ONLY negative would be the psychological effects of your opponents. In other words a bigger sculpt means more eyes are targeting your piece.
