Alternate universe dials (including DCnU dials and different reboots of the LoSH) are considered part of the same progression as long as they have the same power set. For instance, Dark Knight Returns Batman is part of Batman's progression but Sinestro Corps Batman is not.
Blue Beetle - Ted Kord has the scarab armor and may use all Jaime Reyes dials.
Dial H for Hero - Jimmy Olsen has the H Dial and may use the AE Rick Jones dial.
Dove - Dawn Granger uses all Dove dials.
Killer Frost - Louise Lincoln uses all Killer Frost dials.
The Question - Vic Sage may use all generic Gotham police dials.
Robin/Red Robin - Crisis Boy Wonder and Batman GF Red Robin are Jason Todd. All other short pants Robin dials are Dick Grayson and winged Red Robin dials are Tim Drake.
Steel - Natasha Irons may use the HT and SM FF dials in addition to her Leg dial. All other Steel dials are John Henry Irons.
Supergirl - Kara Zor-El and Cir-El share a progression containing all Supergirl dials.
