I am absolutely sure that this has been asked, so you can link me to the ruling if its easier, but I was just wondering if Green Lantern could copy Energy Explosion and Blades/Claws/Fangs. I am under the impression that you can, because they both use explicit wording requiring a ranged or close combat action respectively in order to work, unlike Steal Energy and Precision Strike which mention attacks. But do they technically require a close or ranged combat action to activate?
ANYTHING I CAN IMAGINE: Green Lantern can use Barrier. At the beginning of your turn, choose a standard attack or damage power that requires a power, close or ranged combat action to activate. Green Lantern can use that power this turn.
The key phrases your looking for are "Give this character a Power action", "Give this character a Range combat action", or "Give this character a close combat action".
If that phrase is in the attack power or the damage power he can use it.
I'm not sure about BCF, because that one activates when you you give a close combat attack

This should have been made clearer for exactly this reason but on it's face BCF should be fine because it requires a close combat action to activate.

No need. The PAC has every power. the ones that say "give the character a power action or close combat action or ranged combat action" Green Lantern can use.
Make sure you check the power, "At the beginning of your turn, choose a standard attack or damage power that requires a power, close or ranged combat action to activate"

Precision Strike: When this character makes an attack
There's only a few attack powers that you can't choose... Poison, SE, and PS are the main ones that come to mind. For the damage powers, there are a few more but most powers that don't change how you deal damage aren't an option (OW, Perp, Prob, Leadership, etc)
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
