I started listening to the latest episode last night (late I know) and had to shut it off in anger.
Why, why, why would you purposely homage the Madripoor map? It is hands down the worst map of the colour coded era. This isn't opinion, it's a fact, because buildings that are blocking terrain and not elevated are completely nonsensical in this game. Seeing the Latvaria map for the first time literally (not really) banging my head in the table out of frustration after seeing the error repeated. Please, please do not do this again!
I will say this though--the general design of Latvaria is a massive step up from Madripoor.

Madripoor was one of those maps where the layout was supplied to me and I was instructed what to make.
What happens though when making a map, you have something you want to do, but you have to make the terrain or the area work with the reference provided. When making Latveria, the comic reference was hiding and ducking in alleys. So it made sense to make the buildings including the roofs unaccessable. As I built it I realized this is what had been done on the Madripoor map as well.
Best thing, use Juggernaut from Fear Itself and grab someone and run thru all that blocking!

I appreciate the response. For what it does, as I more or less said, I think Latvaria does it well, I just hate what it does. A lot.

Anyone who still has the word "Lad" in their superhero name should not be having children. If that's the case, change your superhero name to something more grown up.
I've thought about hiring someone to hay it, but it's rather entertaining watching the neighbor's cats stalk their prey like lions on a safari. sometimes I NatGeo narrate it in my head.
What is the name of the music track played at the end?
They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far." Robert Downey/Tony Stark
