Weakened by Dream Doctor's night terrors and with her attack guided by Gaussian's tactical expertise the wounded Sinestro is unable to keep the feisty feline at bay, and a well-placed flying kick knocks him out of the air, directly towards Apex. "Batter up!"

3) "Ready to knock this one out of the park!" Apex grins, one of his inherited swords glowing pale blue with the elemental power of ice as he calls upon it. Apex uses his "Blade of a Fallen Friend" special power to shoot Sinestro with Energy Explosion (Not creating an AoE!). 10 atk. vs 14 (+1 from terrain) def. Needs a 5. Roll is: (2,6) for an 8 and a hit! Sinestro takes 3 and is KO'ed! 1 SA and 1 KO for Apex.

The glacial, elemental blast hits the stunned Sinestro with dead-eye accuracy in mid-air, encasing him in a solid block of ice, rather effectively taking him out of the fight.

As the frozen alien invader drops to the ground, Gaussian bows down to scoop up the ring the Weaponer dropped as he fell. "Hm... I think we'd better confiscate this. C'mon team, let's move out before the locals get here and start asking awkward questions. There's plenty of worlds left in the multiverse for us to save!"
