@dark_knight I was arguing that the piece was good. Someone said he was squishy because Hulk could one shot him with a heavy item. So i was arguing his merits rather than complaining, I'm a min/max player so this guy is definitely to my liking. I'm literally the last guy to complain about a good fig, if it beats me, I make sure to track it down and own it.
This Wolverine, of all that I have played, is an absolute MONSTER. Charge, comboing with Flurry, Blades, and Precision Strike is entirely too deadly, added in with his impressive up close defenses and double regen properties make him incredibly hard to take down. Played him yesterday in a partial sealed, and was constantly utilizing that double token free regen; Wolverine stayed near his top click in most games I played where my dice weren't being cruel. Pair him with the DoFP Nightcrawler to feed off of Wolverine's Empower, and you have a deadly taxi-smash combo that can lay waste to a lot of things.
@maxlightbringer: ah okay, my sincere apologies then, Sir, truly. I haven't gotten to field him yet, I've been itching to undoubtedly but at 130 Points right now I'm more focused on wielding my newly acquired Deadpool LE for the same Point Cost. I will update once once I've been able to mince my opponents's pieces with Classic Logan here

Though I would like to see some IM: Hindering on him, this is the best Wolverine we've ever gotten, I think. The trait gives him serious staying power, and the Charge/Flurry/Blades/Precision Strike combo is lethal. I've played him in several games now, and he always takes out at least twice as many pts as his own cost. Absolutely love him.
When will we get a Carrion, Shriek and Demogoblin so I can run a true Maximum Carnage team?
This figure is like a sick addiction. Pick up, play, get hooked, and then always want to play again. My favorite Wolverine. Honestly I don't even care that he doesn't have improved movement. He can be carried, Tk'd or possibly use a relic to get him into position if need be.
He went toe to toe with 001 Batman at 200 points tonight for me.
B/C/F + Flurry + Precision Strike is just amazing. So much damage potential.
Only limited by keywords, and I'm fine with X-Men themed teams only having advantage of this beast. More than anything, this guy plays like how Logan should IMO. One of the best representations of a character in game mechanics to date for me personally.
Funny story, used him as a herald for galactus and while galactus managed to miss nearly every attack this guy was rampaging across the map taking down everyone in his path! winning the game nearly single handedly! Needless to say hes my new favorite wolverine!
Based on the picture on the Feat card... that's actually quite appropriate (same costume on Vampirism and Wolverine is on both). ;)
Otherwise, you can get the same effect as Vampirism cheaper with Angrir's Hammer (and that can't be OW'd like the prereq for the feat can be). :)
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
I'm still learning the game, and Im having a little trouble understanding this Wolverine. Could someone explain how his special: Wolverine can use Blades/Claws/Fangs, Charge, and Flurry. and how precision strike comes into play. such as the different combinations of those powers he could use.

So the short version, all those powers synergize so you can use them all in a really nice combo. The long version well you use a power action to activate charge which allows for a free close combat action; flurry is a close combat action so that can be used; blades activates when a character is given a close combat action; and precision strike passively applies to any attack he makes that would deal damage.
