Finally get to see him and I feel let down. They should have paired that I Can Be Everywhere with hypersonic. That alone would have made him feel worth the points to me. just the mobility option would have been nice He will def get more potent with a green ring and choice of constructs. A white ring could also prove rather annoying. Backed with a medic he could get rather frustrating to kill. I'd givr him 4/5

I may just be misunderstanding his I Can Be Everywhere ability, but isn't it essentially a duo attack with a running shot before each attack? Since you can move him up up half his movement before each attack or does the target need to be in range before using the ability?

I don't understand why you would want him to have running shot with that. Now correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't that power effectively give him double running shot? I think he's pretty awesome, not the perfect Kyle that we fans of Mr Rayner want, but it will do.
Correct me if I am wrong...but the way the Speed special power is worded, you could potentially get past walls, characters, etc before doing your first attack and THEN escape...that alone seems pretty powerful

Why would you want him to have Hypersonic?
With HSS you only get one attack.
With his movement Special Power he gets 2 attacks!
With HSS he has to break-away, and Plasticity (etc) shuts HSS down.
With his movement Special Power he is GETTING PLACED not MOVING,
so he would ignore characters, ignore Plasticity, ignore walls, ignore blocking, ignore elevated, ignore water (all if he got his Flight outwitted).
His Special Power is way better than HSS.
Because he can make TWO attacks, and they can be Close or Ranged.

His movement special is DUMB! He gets PLACED half his movement before EACH attack is made. So you can place him anywhere within 6 squares(or 5) before the first attack is made then proceed to place him up to that many squares away again. So you can move adjacent to a stealth character, punch them and hope they do not have stealth anymore, then poof away and shoot them. This guy is a beast!
Also his construct ability is the same as the Form A Construct that the lantern batteries have.

Reason: Epic construct ability
One point level? Gutted. I really was looking forward to a team friendly GL Kyle. Guess I will invest in the White Lantern as well. Have trouble seeing when I would play a 180 point Kyle.

Because if nothing is within his mini teleport range the power is usless. With hss I can use my full movement to get an attack in. Seems kind of self explanatory.
By the time that power comes into play you should be within strike range I would think. Especially considering his range. With a construct and battery in play he would have a stop click speed of 13 (have of which rounds up to 7) and a range of 10. That is 17 square range for his first attack on the stop click. Not bad I would say.
I started playing when collateral damage came out and I was amazed by the Kyle Rayner vet sculpt back then along with his great dial. This Kyle definitely redeems the crisis and DC75 versions. He will probably be my go to green lantern.
