How does one go about getting the dice for characters without the card? Wouldn't people be trading/buying/selling for Card AND Dice? Who is actively trying to get a card for a character but not the dice?

You may only want 1 of each card, but in the end you'll likely get stuck with an additional copy of one or two of the cards you have to get your "set" of dice.

You do not have to max out the dice on your cards. If I pulled two uncommon Beasts, then with the starter I would have four dice, but I only need the one uncommon card. You might have the starter but not the UC Beast. If you got my extra card, you would have two dice for it via the starter.

Say I wanna run 4 dice with doc ock? 3 cards/rarities, where am I getting the 4th die without the card? Having extra cards isn't that much of an issue at least to me.

I personally have extras of dice and cards. Once I get to the point to where I have max dice (4 - usually due to pulling a dupe common), I do NOT want the due when I'm trading for a card. All of my SR trades have involved just the card.

When trading, I always ask if they want the die but no trade thus far (except for a trade involving a large lot) has involved the dice.

I think the point was made earlier that you don't need dupes. Which is why I'm sorta making a fuss about it.

Anyway. I think it's just weird to not trade for the card and dice.

If you don't have the card but have some dice from other rarities, then getting it without a die is better than not having it at all.

when you start truely buying Blind Boosters you find you will just have a surplus of Dice and Cards that just sit there and do nothing after you complete your own set. i have opened something close to 6 Display Cases of Blind Boosters and have helped a handful of people get their own Collections started by just giving them my extras.

i love the fact that this game is so Cheap to Collect. a buck a back...yeah i like those numbers lol.

Have played 3 tourneys (2-1, 2-1, 1-1) in the past two weeks.
A Rainbow Draft and two Constructed/Draft mixes,
and I used SR Widow during the second tourney.

I am finished my X-Men Set and am 4 cards from finishing AvsX.

It's a great game, I highly recommend it.

I have used Cap "Follow Me" all three tourneys.
I picked him in my first tourney - a Rainbow Draft - and havn't put him away since.
The last tourney I got 3 of him fielded in one turn.
A Lv 1, a Lv 2, and a Lv 3.

Pretty much people trade just for the die, or just for the card.
Only cards people actively trade and trade for are the Rares and Super Rares. If you ask around, a lot of people, like myself, will just GIVE you that common or uncommon card your looking for.

Oh and with dice trading, dice for the 8 characters in the starter deck are worth a minimum of 6 other die due to the fact they only show as uncommon in boosters and not very frequent.

I would put Gobby as best die in AvX followed closely by Tsarina. Both are still worth between $40-50.

Before the new expansion these two cards alone we're the ultimate meta in DM. Each was good alone and both together was near unstoppable. Now that UXM has come out though they are much easier to counter.

Agreed. But the full art Tsarina promo that is out there makes her the best still. I want that card so bad.
