when USE A CONSTRUCT is used to place an attached Construct on a friendly character's card, is that construct still considered "attached" with respect to the EMOTIONAL SPECTRUM trait, and FORM A CONSTRUCT power?

If my Batt. started the game with one non-matching construct, and I used USE A CONSTRUCT, to place that non-matching construct onto a friendly character's card, and all remain constructs and the ring match the battery would I be able to use the EMOTIONAL SPECTRUM trait?

Does FORM A CONSTRUCT let me bring in a construct from outside the game and swap it with a construct that is currently placed on a friendly character's card via the USE A CONSTRUCT power?

Sounds that way to me, but having yet to even see a Lantern or its rules, you might want to wait for someone with more experience.

Well, if you use lydea mallor and detach a ring then they can't use the spectrum...

So if you detach a non-same colored construct... it should theoretically work the way you want it to.

unless "attached" constructs are inclusive to what is attached to the corps member(s) also

It's not a question of how I want it to play, I want to know the correct way so that I can rule it correctly for my players. I believe all constructs are still attache even when placed on a card via USE A CONSTRUCT. But need to know for sure.

For what it's worth though, the emotional spectrum only triggers if ALL constructs match the ring and battery. That ALL refers to all constructs that are part of the game as a direct result of the battery being used. The only off color constructs you can use are ones brought into the game through the construct ability (trait?) present on prime and LE green lanterns from WOL.

I need to find it, but there is a ruling on Lydea Mallor about detaching the ring and what does and does not work when you do it. I will search tonight and attach the link.
