Best Canary yet! She can occupy the JL team base, as well as fill roles on JSA and Team 7 themes.

Best of all, at 77 points, Black Canary can join Worlds' Finest (PG/Huntress) on a JL theme and leaves wiggle room for a resource.

Nobody can "replace" Aquaman.
He is one of a kind.

But this figure is bad ass on her own rights.
She can move and then attack on every click.

@THOMAS5: Yeah, Aquaman gets no love except from HBO's Entourage. I don't care about Team Bases as it is but I've acquired this piece simply because I love the character and let's face it, she kicks some serious butt for 77 Points. Running Shot & Pulse Wave? Why yes, please. How about Penetrating Force Blast? Oh, sounds randy. All finished off with some fishnet stockings? Ah yes, "come to Butt-head ..."

NICE! Really good Canary too! Been since JLA set that we've got a JSA KW'd Canary!

Putting on the comic fanboy hat here, too bad she can't replace Wonder Woman as well to give us a post Crisis year one JLA team base. Hat off again, nice Canary. Glad she has come so far from her REV back in the day.

I'm also feeling the love on this version of Dinah...she finally does everything I want Black Canary to be able to do, all on the same dial, and she does all of those things well. Short of having JLA/JLI, there are still some tricks to older versions, but I really like what this version brings to the table for the cost, team-base or no. Getting to actually 'Incap' figures with Battle Fury or the rare figures that can't be otherwise targeted by Incapacitate is a nice rider to her Precision Strike as well...you are adding the token or doing the damage, but it's not technically Incap and happens after actions resolve. I must have this figure!

I'll hold off rating this figure until it sees some play, but I like two things about the dial: (1) Improved Movement, especially with the movement track power. (2) The dial doesn't highlight the stat-boosting-via-keyword features of several recent dials. Finally, there hasn't been a disappointing version of Black Canary yet in the carded era. We are luck to have good dials at a nice variety of point values.

Pulse Wave and Force Blast is a very potent and devious combination. I love this version of Dinah. She's my go to from now on.

Win/Loss: 16-9 This version of Dinah is outstanding in so many ways. The combo of improved movement and the Batman Ally is a perfect combination. Great cost and impressive range. Her steady stats make her solid, too. I love the design of her Canary Cry - Pulse-Wave & Force Blast. Brilliant! Her close-combat skills via CCE make her especially wicked when combined with Precision Strike. Short dial means she is better versus characters in her price range rather than the 150+ big guns, unless you roll Super-Senses well. I look forward to using her again and again... EDIT: If there is a downside to this piece it is the amount of attention she garners. 6 clicks of life goes fast. Her 10 attack has also been a problem - mine misses a lot - which is frustrating.

For a Justice League Themed Team, I'm gonna try this 300 Point Team: FL 037b Dark Flash (110) + TT 031e Green Lantern (110) + wkD 021 Black Canary (77) + Justice League ATA (3) = 300 Points. TT 015 Aquaman can be swapped in for either Dark Flash or Green Lantern as well if you like. I love that ATA (especially for the Point Cost) and there seems to be good synergy

This birdie will be at home on my Bat-friends teams.

I love everything about this Canary except the lack of Martial Artist keyword. That missing keyword keeps her from theming with Green Arrow And Arsenal to play the team from the Arrow TV show. :(
