wildcards copy atas... so yeah

That doesn't answer my question. Which is it? Can he:

1) use an ATA assigned to him based on his keywords AND copy his boss's TA so he has a TA and an ATA active at the same time

or

2) only use an ATA by copying one assigned to his boss even if the same one is assigned to him so he can only have one TA or ATA active at a time?

The problem is the phrase "Hired Henchman is a wild card but can only use the Boss's team abilities."

I would think the intent was #1 based on context but if the trait prevents him from using his own ATA then it's #2. Which is it?

He can use ata if he meets the prerequisites, and he is also a wildcard, but may only copy his bosses team ability.

I've been waiting forever for my Rogues. Now this little guy will be offering up his soul to give Abra his spells and in return he'll get that awesome mystics TA.

I'm really happy with the Rogues. They perform just as they should. We get in, get the job done, get out when we need to. Hard and fast. Some amazing, tie up and support in the group too. Having the potential of generics like this to help the swarm is awesome.

The Henchmen cannot copy Cold's Calculator TA as wild card TAs are uncopyable. You're better off declaring Mirror Master the Boss instead if you want to capitalize on the Suicide Squad TA.

Could't he just copy the TA being copied? That's what I thought anyway.
