Hawkman looks pretty dam good with 12 attack, 3 damage, 10 speed with full movement charge, with flight and precision strike? Then he can sidestep away, so that 17 def becomes 19 with energy deflection/range? This guy looks to rush and punch you in the face !!

The Savage Hawkman indeed! Absolutely brutal close combatant who will not be denied his attacks if he can help it. Gets in, smashes face, doesn't bother to ask questions (because there are clearly more faces to smash). As this is the one that isn't in the Society (THANKS, Oba*cough*I mean, Nu52), he'll never be able to replace some older Hawkmen for me, but for Justice League teams I need this guy. Solid rare that should be a fun pull in Sealed as well.

KC Flash's value just dropped. This guy will totally own that piece! Precision Strike so no more Super Senses, and the 12 atk to hit that 19 def... Tsk tsk tsk... And only 115 pts!!! WICKED!

A very decent Hawkman. I'm surprised that he doesn't have traited Toughness or something to represent his armor/Nth Metal/alien physiology, but he'll suffice. Add the JLoA (Silver Age) ATA to boost his AV by +1.

FINALLY a decent Hawkman with a good pt. price to boot! I like it.

I've read a lot of comics and Hawkman should have at least a 15 attack. This guy can only get 14 attack with CCE. Disappointing.

Ridiculously high attack value, even for Hawkman, IMO. This is a 130-140 point-ish dial. That said, what a beast.

Makes me sad that he doesn't have the Justice Society keyword.

Get this man a Suit of Sorrows! I have to disagree with people saying he's busted. Your target had better be pushed or on the verge of KO when you charge, because a naked 17 defense is going to get ripped to shreds.

That's what the Sidestep is for. Charge 10 and, if you hit, Sidestep away (barring you make the breakaway roll) for an ES/D-enhanced 19 Defense. Hawkman here is the perfect clean-up batter for sure and, if supported right, a great alpha strike piece. My favorite figure previewed so far!

He's got a good dial, but this isn't what I'd expect from a New 52 Hawkman. Aside from the fact that he's got the wrong keywords and real name, he should have some sort of damage reducing power and Regeneration to represent his being bonded to Nth metal. He should really have Blades/Claws/Fangs somewhere in there, too.
The sculpt is also lackluster...especially for a Rare.

Ditto, his dial really should be more like a flying Wolverine's. Still the dial is good, though I'm sad they couldn't have given him the JSA keyword (I know it's Nu52, but the JSA is getting mostly neglected), plus power wise pre and post Nu52 Hawkman are pretty similar so it wouldn't be a stretch to be able to use the same figure for either one.

Close Combat pieces with Zero Range but have ESD is just frustrating, even if he can Sidestep after he Charges to create space. No thanks, I'll pass on this piece. Stupid Nu52 ...
