As far support pieces/secondary attackers go, he's good. The GLC TA for under 100 points makes him currently the cheapest option for a super taxi. If the lack of upfront damage reduction is an issue, add a Decoy or Shield for protection.

GL Baz's greatest strength will be the ability to place additional blocking terrain tokens; with a Rifle construct, you'll be able to wall him in, as well as providing blocking to any JLoA friendly within 10 squares (LoF not required).

Wiz kids. Didn't we just get fifty of this guy in w.o.l. make some othe characters goin. Just stupid. Even if this clik is good or bad is irrelevant.

Actually, this is only the second Simon Baz ever. And I really like this dial; Enhancement + GL TA is a nice way to get the party started. That Barrier is stupid good, to boot. This set is looking amazing so far.

Glad I'm not the only one eager to play this Baz over WoL Baz. They each fulfill different roles on the team while still remaining ranged combat machines like Simon Baz should. Not being able to utilize constructs on his own does make me sad, but is probably a good thing overall considering his Barrier trick (you play a Power Battery, or you don't get constructs for him because he doesn't have the trait). It's also nice to see a good free-move taxi that isn't ONLY good as a free-move taxi.

I wasn't too enthused with this guy as first, with the "weird" decision to put charge upfront and RS later, but then I realized he has his IT.

This guy is actually pretty damn awesome for 96 points. He is definitely a little more finesse than your average 100-ish range guy, but Simon actually manages to be pretty cool.

So...maybe this isn't the best thing ever, but I'm totally pumped to see another one of the few characters with telekinesis and willpower. Tons of utility between those things, enhancement and barrier later on. Plus he can be a super taxi with that GL team ability. With that TK, he can provide some less mobile bruisers the opportunity to beat homies early on. I really like this guy. He's the piece that makes everyone around him better and more efficient.

Hey!! Green Lantern team ability? Pff. What is this? After the entire GREEN LANTERN SET, and no TA, we now get Simon Baz... the least known GL... and he gets it?

Do you really want the GL TA on your character who can only be on a theme team with other fliers?

Not really, but it WOULD have been nice to get Green Lanterns that have other keywords with a bevy of non-fliers to have a version with said keywords and the TA. WoL participation Guy gets a pass because of his trait, but either something like that or the TA and the right non-Lantern-related keywords would have been really nice to have for all the others. Too nice, apparently.

Well the White Queen Cuckoo pogs just found their best friend. He can carry the whole flock and add enhancement for their wimpy 1 dmg score PB.

If he had a wall construct could he use it with his special barrier? I wanna say no because the whole "can only have a power from one source" rule but then I wanna say yes because ive heard its ok to use regeneration as a free action then again as a power action. Not sure which this would fall under...

he can. It says when he uses barrier not when he uses barrier this way. Just like CW Crystal is broke as heck with the black light ring
