I'll say the opposite. 20 points cheaper than the original version, with better combat values, Sharpshooter and an enhanced Carry ability. His Ring roll can be rerolled, and his Perplex nullification is effective against opposing Blue Power Battery-powered teams.
Also, this is the Hal Jordan version: He's compatible for Splitting all relevant duos featuring a GL Hal .
I'm with Spider-ham and blackbeltsam on this one, especially for only being 70 points this is a VERY solid figure. His negative trait might keep him from being hardcore meta, but it can be rerolled (and on a CSA team, that means A LOT) and buys you a MUCH more capable Power Ring than the 'Harrolds'-analogue of yore. Carries more, carries better, can actually hit, can actually damage, has a much better chance of NOT getting hit, has Willpower in better places, and actually has serious support powers but no Barrier or Transporter M&A option. This guy obsoletes the old Power Ring in most ways, and that's the one old CSA member I don't mind replacing that way.

Arguendo of the Beige Lanterns (Pedantry Corps)
Feb 2015: JL Trinity War has have given us the CSA, playable and together. Twice. ROCK ON!
REClixed: Justice for Dmitri Pushkin (your sacrifice will not be forgotten)! New generic Rocket Red @50-75 points while we're at it? Still no 19DV Defender? (WoS Groot doesn't count)
Power Girl AND Bust.
I kind of like how hes designed based on a Retro generic Green Lantern dial. Running shot, pulse wave, esd, willpower and Tk. LOL.....But i dont like how hes designed after the hal jordan version. I was really looking forward to the other Power Ring character....oh well ill just keep using my original double base power ring figure. And....ill just keep losing with him.
How does the timing work if he pushes and then takes damage from The Ring is Killing Me? For example, let's say on turn 1, I have him carry 3 guys forward. Move action, no roll. Then on turn 2, I use TK to throw a buddy forward. Can I order the pushing damage after the trait, so that the trait might put me on Willpower to ignore the pushing damage? If so, then this guy's awesome. If not, then he's still pretty good.
I try to get out, and they pull me right back in...

controller controls the order of things. so YES YOU CAN make the end of actions resolve how YOU decide. this guy is cool, and thematic. he shouldn't be a beast. if he was, it'd be inaccurate.
@antonio.clark.art is my instagram.take a look and tell me what you think....be blessed!!!

Sweet. I think I may have finally found a replacement for Sister Sercy on every team haha.

Can someone tell me who this guy is? Kinda a Green Lantern fan, and I've never heard of "Power Ring". Aparently it's Hal with Volthoom's ring... but I didn't even know Volthoom had a ring... and why "Power ring"? Thats not a cool character name. As for the dial itself, meh. Nice support piece. Kinda looking for a bit more in a character that's slowly killing himself.... AND WHY IS HAL PART OF THE CRIME SYNDICATE?! I dont know... I just dont know anymore...
