I am new to the world of Heroclix, and have a question on the concept of Pushing. I have seen some YouTube video's on Heroclix battles also, which triggered the question.
If you give a figure an action for two consecutive turns, this figure becomes "pushed". It was my understanding that a "pushed" figure takes a click of damage.
In the video's however, I don't always see them apply this damage to a "pushed" figure.
Could somebody please explain the rules for pushing, and how they should be applied. I use the DC Hypertime Collection figures, in case that matters.
The Purple Defense power (Willpower) ignores pushing damage from a second token. As do newer figures with on their dial, Power Cosmic Team ability, and Quintessence team ability. Those are just a few ways, characters may have Special Powers (White powers) or Traits that also allow them to avoid the pushing damage from the second token. The game has added ALOT since 2003 Hypertime.
Also worth noting that many characters use Willpower through special powers, traits or the "Indomitable" combat symbol, none of which existed when Hypertime was released. So not every character with Willpower will be showing purple in the Defense slot.
I would have been quadruple Ninja'd if I hadn't gone back to check, but I'll add this:
Another game effect that would allow a character to take non-free actions on consecutive turns without taking pushing damage would be a use of Leadership (the grey Damage power) by an adjacent friendly character of higher points to remove the first action token at the start of the second turn.
