ok, with the recent victory of DOOP and GLUTTONY, can damage be reduced to them via colossus shard or angrir''s hammer?

for instance: MOUNTAINS OF FLAB: gluttony can't be carried. when gluttony is dealt damage , gluttony ignores all but 1 damage. this power can't be countered or ignored .

if I had a hammer that granted toughness, would that reduce the 1 damage taken? I have not even played the figure so any help is appreciated.

Correct although there are reasons you might still want a damage reducer.

I killed a Gluttony by Force Blasting him to death. A damage reducer would stop knockback and Poison damage.

If a character could use multiple game effects that would reduce or ignore damage dealt, only one of its game effect can activate, to be decided by the character‘s controlling player.

Both Gluttony and Doop have effects that ignore damage so you can't combine these with a damage reducing power.

Just remember, if you have more than one power/ability that can reduce or ignore damage you can choose which effect to use for each instance of damage.

So if you give Doop Toughness and he is the target of Poison you would use Toughness, however if he is hit for a 7 damage attack then you would use his trait to ignore all but 1 of the damage.
