So I know it says '1-6 distinct Constructs (construct symbol)' however had a question. Does this mean I could only play one scissors on it or does it mean like I can only play one GREEN scissors on it and put an ORANGE scissors on there as well.
There is an official rules forum now where you can ask questions and get answers (usually within a day or two) from wizkids rules officials.
It's already been ruled, actually (I think back when they were doing E-mail) that "distinct" means different shapes, not different colors. So no, you can't start the Battery with a green and orange scissors attached. However, you can Form a Construct to change one of the ones on there to make more of the same one (in the same or different colors). :)
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
Just take that entire flash set and throw it right in the trash, great business plan. Wizards of the coast would have banned this thing a long time ago.

Care to elaborate on your saltiness?
I try to get out, and they pull me right back in...
I think Hyrda is just complaining because most of the Flash set had free action powers and the most powerful ones had multiple free actions (Eg. KC Flash, most of the Speedsters that could "remove a token as a free action" that can't attack with HSS in the same turn when facing the Green Spectrum, etc)

Ahh, the good old hasty generalization salt. Silly Hydra.

I've bolded the part of that statement that disturbs me about the direction the game is moving. It seems to be headed away from skill and tactics and more into money=victory.
This is absolutely incorrect. I have proven time and time again that money does NOT buy you a victory. I have shattered 99 dollar pieces with .99 cent pieces and I've seen players do the same.
If your 'theory' is money gains the player access to more elements of the game then....that doesn't make sense. You can win pieces or trade for them or get them as a friggin Christmas gift. Either way it's not a players fault for having access to more diverse elements compared to a casual player who has a box of clix he was given for free. It's that players obligation to strategically combo pieces together to counter his opponent no matter HOW he gains those pieces.
Now if your 'theory' is the more expensive a piece is the better the piece is on the field then that to has been proven incorrect. (As I previously mentioned) No matter how you say it....it is a flawed theory.
With respect to Department H I call BS. Yes you can play this game and win with good, solid, cheap figs. It can be done. But if you expect to go to a tourney, especially late season, say IG8 for example, you will have to have spend some money. And sadly more money than you should have. You can either throw a bunch of money at boosters or throw a bunch of money at online options. Don't deny it, HC is a game of luck/skill but it relies on the figs. Better figs are worth more. Spend more you can win more. I'm not happy about it. I'm one of those poor guys who dies by "cheese" figs more often than plays them but I do what I can with what I got.

Sorry for being crazy late, but if you mean local tournaments (thats what I read IG8 as), you could come in with literally a $5 tab app figure pack and play the whole night flawless.
If you mean slightly more competitive events like ROC events, or a Wizkids tournament, then MAYBE. But it also costs hundreds of dollars to even attend those events if you don't live nearby.
I have a total collection of about 25 figures, and I'm pretty sure that some combination of them could beat any "cheese" team any day.

I agree "cheese" can be beaten, and often with a solid team that doesn't have to be expensive. I can't afford to attend any ROC events despite my venue beginning me to go. There is a difference between cheese and meta though. Meta while not always expensive can quickly become so. Supply and demand. I don't own a single battery or entity, not because I don't want them but because I can't afford them. In a game of strategy each element I am deprived of can hurt me. Can I win a game with a $2 team? Yes. But in any constructed tournament? Not likely. I don't want to continue a argument so this is my last comment, so to each his own.
is it ok to have multiple of the same type and same colour construct??? or would they have to be a different colour? So can i give my power battery like 3 green snipers to give to my team and get the emotional spectrum power or will they need to be different colours. just an example.
You could give only 1 type of construct (independent of color)
So regardless of yellow or green, just 1 sniper, 1 decoy, 1 wall.. etc
The spectrum only works with all constructs and ring with the same color as the battery
FWIW, McGufalo is right... the Constructs go against the normal "Unique" or "distinct" rules (which are based on set and number) as WK has ruled that they are "distinct" based on title of the Construct so you can't have more than 1 Sniper Rifle or more than 1 Decoy assigned via the Battery (although you could use one of the Prime/LE GLs with the Construct trait with a Decoy and another Decoy attached to the Battery since those are separate).
