Just looking for thoughts on a team I might play this weekend. 500 points of New Mutants, slightly modified version of Golden Age format.

- New Mutants TB @ 200
- DP Cable 163
- GSX FF Professor X 75
- GSX Cypher 38
- Phoenix Force w/ Magik, Colossus, and Cyclops fragments assigned to Cable - 24 points
500 even.

Figure this team is annoying to deal with, between Prof giving everyone shape change, Cypher stealing a team ability, Cable having Mystics/Invul, and the base's "sacrifice myself" ability.

Depending on what I'm up against, either pop off Magik and Magma to tie up and Taxi into close range, pop of Sunspot and TK him in to attack and then, if he would be KOed, "sacrifice" to land him on pulse wave clicks, or pop off Warlock to double perplex/TK Cable into position for RCE.
