I love how we got Kor from both time periods, and they both work really well. I especially like the DS9 one, as he does something very original in the modern game, but it could feasibly be a really strong game changer (oh hi Mr. Borg Cube, please go after this decoy while everyone else teams up).
I'm less excited about Worf and Martok. They're ok, but we already have really solid Martok and Worf Klingon Captains. At least we have a Klingon Admiral though.
Darok is way too expensive for what he does. Way way too expensive. We've had a Picard who costs almost the same since the starter set, and he's reuseable. Strafing Attack, Inverse Graviton Burst, and Long Live the Empire are ok. Not especially great, but ok.
Yeah, Darok is weirdly expensive. I mean, Day Kannu does pretty much the same thing for only 2 points. If you could use him prior to moving that might make him worth the cost, or if you could play him for free with Kor. Has the price of bloodwine gotten so high?
I like the ship and the two Kors, especially for Klingons who are light on crew space.
Strafing attack is nifty but pricey. They keep trying to give Klingons fancy cards like that but they still play best lean, I think.
My first thought for Kor is to put him on a ship with 3 agility and 3 crew slots so I can include Riker, Sulu and Paris. 8 defense dice with the BS conversion from Sulu. It will be GLORIOUS! ...except I don't collect Klingons so I will probably never actually use this combo...

Wouldn't it be 9? 3 base + 2 Kor + 1 Riker + 1 Paris + 2 Sulu. Although you would need 2 ship actions so Martok needs to be hanging around. Unless you are talking about Ent-E Riker, in which case you only need 2 crew slots as he grants one.

I was referring to the Riker that disables and allows you to use one crew (or other stuff) action as a free action after movement. That way you can Sulu and Kor on the same turn. I forget which ship that one comes with and I also forgot that he adds a crew slot.
