REVERT: HOPE SUMMERS: Give White Phoenix Hope a free action and replace her with a AvX #016 Hope Summers on the same click number -2. The replacement character can't be given an action this turn.
what she DOES have on those last 2 clicks however, is a 10 attack, which the white phoenix version does not... and stealth.
If i I have my flaming white she-bird in the midst of hindering, and it'll keep her alive to revert her into this, GLADLY. and if there's some brick monster nearby (re: within 4 squares) that can't trudge into the hindering to reach her b/c of lack of improved movement or flight, I'll pick up its potential invuln, invincible or even toughness... and potentially gain more survivability. next move, grab the heaviest offensive power available (possibly an errant cyclops or magneto... or thor or whatnot), sync up, and let er rip for one last defiant strike.
"A" is "A". And no matter what universe he's from, Luthor... is Luthor.
Seeing how many asset abilities the AvX team bases have (2-4 most of the time) this Hope could be really useful for her asset ability. If you don't know it, it says that as a free action you can choose the asset ability of any figure not attached and use it this turn. Avengers can use EE while Thor is out wrecking faces, X-Men can use TK twice without Magneto, etc. This way Hope's insane point value doesn't come into play and she can still be useful. Otherwise I think this has got to be one of the worst figures in modern age. Even the one thing people are saying is moderately useful I disagree with, revert. Why revert when I could just Regen with my White Phoenix Hope and still have a good figure on the field?

If anyone wants to play this piece as a single version feel free but I think as Asarms87 has said this piece is all about being on a team base. It essentially gives you the asset ability arsenal of every possible character that team base can use and says its ok that you can only fit 5 on the base, use the asset abilities of them all anyway. As more sets come out with more characters to attach to the Team Bases for both X-Men and Avengers, the value of this piece will just keep getting better. 5 Stars when used on Team Base!
They give her the K'un Lun keyword and no Iron Fist has it ?!?
And yes, of course very disapointing, could have considered playing her in a Phoenix Force team, but as she doesn't have the keyword... trade bait !
Before you get your knickers in a knot, the K'un Lun keyword didn't exist when FI Iron Fist was made. K'un Lun made it's first appearance on the AvX OP figures.
As for Phoenix Force, as far as I read, Hope never actually became the Phoenix. She rejected the power which is why it got splintered when Iron Man blasted it while it was trying to take her as a host.

Yes to K'un Lun keyword being new. No to Hope Summers rejection. The Phoenix force came for her, Tony blasted it and it split into five pieces (not very different than when the Shi'ar did the same thing a few years prior SEE: Phoenix Warsong/Endsong). At the end of AvX, Cyclops turns Dark Phoenix, is defeated and lets the Phoenix force go. Hope Summers takes it, fixes everything wrong and then with Scarlet Witch, they cast "No More Phoenix". Considering the long standing theories that Hope was linked to the Phoenix force, that were confirmed during AvX. All three Hope Summers' should have the Phoenix Force keyword. If the rookie (75pt) was from an older set and didn't have the keyword, that could make sense. As it stands now, rookie has the keyword, experienced (122pt) does not, and White Phoenix Hope does.
Special is that rookie Hope's mimicry is better than experienced Hope's. Experienced has range and is traited, but only gets one standard power. Rookie has to be pushed to the power, adjacent to use, but can use ALL the powers of the target.
