Does speed cyclone damage avoid mystics? Based off the wording its not an attack, and mystics needs an attack to activate the unavoidable damage. I feel like i am missing something, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mystics: When a character using the Mystics team ability takes damage from an attack, the attacker is dealt 1 unavoidable damage. This damage is not an attack.

Speed Cyclone Uplift: When Speed Demon moves, after actions resolve, choose an opposing character and roll a d6. If the result is less than the number of distinct squares that Speed Demon moved into or through that are adjacent to that character during the move, you may place that character within line of fire of its square and up to the result away in squares and deal that character half of the result in damage.

Like you said, it's not an attack so it won't trigger mystics.
