I'm still learning some of the rules for this game. I have most of the basics down, but I have a question about characters that have a stop click.
When the character reaches their stop click and doesn't go any further, can the opponent still attack (with a different character) and damage that character past their stop click?

Yes, but not Doctor Light!
YOU...TOOK...MY...MIND!: Dr. Light can use Super Senses. If this click is revealed due to taking damage from an opponent's attack, stop turning the dial, remove all action tokens from Dr. Light and Dr. Light can't be targeted until next turn. This power can't be ignored.
There are a lot of different wordings that all do different things in different situations. Lats night I played Uliks Rock Trolls vs Mystiques Brotherhood and realized there are big difference between Ulik and the Blob...
Quote
STRONGEST OF ALL ROCK TROLLS: Damage dealt to Ulik is reduced to 1. This power cannot be countered or ignored.
Quote
LAYERS OF EXTRA FAT: Blob ignores all but 1 damage dealt to him.
Quote
UNSTOPPABLE: Doomsday can use Invulnerability. When you turn Doomsday's combat dial as a result of him taking damage, stop turning the dial when Unstoppable appears in the stat slot.

Reason: "read" not "reach"
"A Jester unemployed is nobody's fool." - The Court Jester "And so he says, I don't like the cut of your jib, and I go, I says it's the only jib I got, baby!
A stop click merely stops the dial from beign turned any further at that point.
Whatever else is showing ont hat character's dial will tell you whether or not they can be attacked by someone else, and most of the time that answer is "Yes. Any other hostile is free to attack them and further damage the character".
Hulk has two stop clicks. They can not be ignored and you remove action tokens from him when they come up.
Nothing about that power says that Hulk can no longer be targeted, attacked, or damaged.
On both of those clicks he has two other powers.
The first is charge. A standard power and certainly no immunity to being targeted, attacked, or damaged there.
The second is the damage power which offers up invincible and an improved regeneration. Again, nothing to stop him from being targeted, attacked, or damaged.
Some characters, like Dr. Light shown above, will have extra protection, but if it's there then you will find it.
Otherwise, a stop click is just a means to make the opponent have to hit the character more times, and the vast majority of those times, those extra hits can come in the same turn that the stop click was revealed.
Thanks everyone for the responses. It clears it up for me. I was pretty sure what the answer was, but I was basically seeing if there may have been something in the rules I may have missed. LOL, looks like I need a Doctor Light.

Wanna cheese someone off? Let him double down on that stop-click!

Everyone should have a Doctor Light! So many fun pieces to make a society theme team, and use the ATA!
