I like this Kang well enough. He's useful on a team, and his stats are fine, but I wish his probability control wasn't limited. I also wish we could get a new Kang that could give a team of Avengers a tough time by himself. A bit more comic accuracy as it were. Still, he makes my short list for theme villains.

For The life of me I can NEVER get this Kang to play well. I started to dismiss it as my playing skills but then I would use one of the old REV kangs and dominate modern figures! And the reason can't be because it's a bad figure because everyone seems to really like him and he's still going for 30 bucks. So I have deduced one simple explanation, bad luck mojo. ...my particular kang figure was pulled by a friend during a blind draft. He was fighting another guy who had pulled a Sentry/Void chase. (No one knew just how much of a Monstrosity that thing was at the time) My friend was then obliterated by sentroid then proceeded to trade me kang.

Ever since that game this figure is ALWAYS the first to be koed on my teams. Seriously a 45 point space phantom would contribute more than this kang. Being the ONLY modern kang figure this is very disheartening. The one common denominator is my opponent would always shoot at kang first. His extremely short dial doesn't help, and his below average defense is a bane. I never NEVER land on his damn regen click and I always get outwitted. Should I just bite the bullet and toss a Gauntlet on him while laughing at Fate? Or perhaps buy another kang with less...history? Any strategies or stories with this guy? So sad....I really do like this figure. Oh well...time to go obliterate modern teams with the golden aged experienced kang or Nathaniel Richards LE. :(

You see....this kang is good and all. But i want a 1st Appearance Kang dial. A 300 point monster that can single handely take on ALL OF THE AVENGERS!

I was going to say you need to get the doom kang duo, but seems you already have a rich with him from your comments lol.

I have had much success using this figure, and the duo, with the im3 iron patriot (200pts one) and his bodyguard trait. I must say though, I can't to see what they do with the new kang coming out. I hope he is not a disappointment, as I am sure you are as well.
